Life changes...

I'm so proud of myself because I'm posting a lot sooner then i have been. It is amazing how life can change so fast! Jason has now been jobless for a month now... It has been really hard on him and I but the great thing is Jason and I are so great at communicating so we have really been able to get through this together. I do the job looking for him and he makes the calls and he goes on the interviews which he hasn't had many and the has been getting nothing but rejected.. I just don't understand people in Missouri.. They are all just so old fashioned and won't give anyone a chance unless someone knows you, who cares that you are a great worker and just care about if people know you and they are so quick to judge you.. Ask my poor dad he has been trying to get a job for now and he hasn't had any luck either.. GRRRRRRR things just drive me crazy!!!! Saturday just has my hubby was going to give up on finding a job, I found him one on ldsjobs.org and it is in Mesa AZ.. YES that is right we might have a chance to go back HOME!!!!! Don't get me wrong it's not that I'm grateful for the opportunity to have lived in Missouri and be around my wonderful family, it is just.... Mesa has so much more to offer us.. If Jason gets this job then he will be working during the day and going to HVAC school in the evening, that way we won't have to worry about him not having a job and he really wants to do this. I have also thought about going to work part-time to in a salon just so that I can help support our family and I can get some more education and learn more so I can feel confident in opening my own salon or school someday. I think that Nevaeh needs some interaction with other kids since she doesn't have any brother's or sister's right now, I think that she will learn and grow by being around other kids. The Church is so much more stronger in Mesa then it is here in our little branch and besides Nevaeh has reached a stepping stone in her life and that is NURSERY!!! Yes our little princess in 18 months today!!! There are no other kids in the nursery here so once again she will be alone. There is just something about MESA!! I really can't explain it but whenever I leave I always want to go back and believe me I always do.. I will tell you that if we get to move back to Mesa I WILL NEVER LEAVE unless the prophet of the church told us we need to.

Catch up Time

I know it has been a long time since I have done this but you know it is the story of my life.. A lot has been going on for this little McCabe family like always.. First.. ME well I'm doing ok here I have been able to do some hair which makes me super excited but not enough to keep me super busy.. I have been having a super hard time leaving here in Missouri, I wish I could say that I love it here but that would be a lie.. I love having my family around but I super miss my girls.... I am the kind of person who loves people and loves to be around them and I NEED MY GIRLS in my life. Sometimes as a stay at home mom you just needs some friend time because you are home all the time and I really don't get that.. Don't get me wrong it's not that am complaining my any means that I'm a stay at home mom , because I LOVE being home with my little girl.. It's just I need some time for Me!When i was living in AZ I had that but here I don't and it really makes me sad.... In Feb i weighed myself and realized I had gotten pretty heavy so I decided I needed to do something about it because I was feeling so blah and so depressed.. Well as huge Biggest Loser Fan, I decied to buy a 30 day Biggest Loser program book , I loved it I was working out each day and eating really healthy and in the first week I lost 7lbs. Man was i so excited but then I was getting down to just losing a 2lbs a week and i was still pretty happy but I wanted to lose more so I tired the HCG diet and let's just say that is not easy and i failed at that.. I LOVE SUGAR!!! and on that you can't eat sugar for 1 month and only 500 cal a day, no working out and you had to take these yucky drops 6 times a day that tasted like alcohol.. YUCK not for me. Now I'm back to my diet plan and I feel much better I have lost a total of 18 lbs so far.. My little family and I have been doing a lot of walk lately so that has helped a lot.. Enough of me now on to that family...

Nevaeh!!!! she is such a growing girl.. She will be 18months the 20th of this month which I can't believe because my little girl is growing up so fast. She weighs only 20lbs and is 30 inches long, her 5 month old cousin is about to catch up to her.. I never in my life thought I would have such a little tiny girl but we do and we love her so much.. she now loves to read books and she can climb up on the couch and jump off, she is such a little ham her personality is really coming out and I can tell she is going to be like her dad.. Always wants to make people laugh! I did catch here the other day standing in front of the mirror just looking at her self and watching her self drink out of her cup ,eat and dance .. she just cracks me up, She really isn't saying any new words but she has started making up her own language so I hope that means she will be talking more because when ever she wants something it is "E" and points to what she wants.. We took her swimming for the first time this yr and she had so much fun... She went under the water 3 times which freaked me out but she didn't mind it at all and had a blast! It is super exciting to see her grow and learn.

Jason (AKA DADA ) He is an amazing hard worker.. He got a job working with his uncle doing electrical work all over Missouri , KS and OK it lasted for a while but now it has ended he hasn't been working for almost three weeks now and he is starting to get frustrated because he is doing everything thing he can to get a job but we just haven't had any luck yet. He has just been made Elders Q President here in our little branch which is super exciting for him and our little family.. I think it will be such a good calling for him and he will be able to teach these men some things and he will be taught many new things :) Since he has been home he has been such a great help around the house.. He has been really helping me with Nevaeh , cleaning and cooking.. I tell you what I have the best Husband ever!!!!

Home Sweet Home In Chillicothe Missouri






Wow a lot has changed for the McCabe family.. we now live in Chillicothe Missouri which is super close to my parents.. It was a fast move but we had to do something.. Jason lost his job back in October and we weren't having any luck in Mesa so we left.. I will tell you this was one of the hardest things I have had to do in a long time.. I was really happy in Mesa and I felt like finally once in my life I was settled but I guess that is what I get for thinking.. I really miss all my wonderful friends in Mesa so much and it is adjustment being here because I once again am left home alone w just Nevaeh .. Jason works out of town every week so I'm all by myself.... It sucks but I have to just deal with it and enjoy the time I have when my hubby is home. Lately he hasn't had much work because of the weather because it has been the worse Winter that Chillicothe has seen in over 20 yrs so it was nice having him home but he has to work so we can pay the bills lol.

Living in Chillicothe is nice because we live in a nice house and this is a really small town so once it warms up Nevaeh and I will be walking all over this town. I feel really safe here which is good and I get to be around all my family which I have missed so much but again I still miss my friends.. The cost of living her is way cheap compared to Mesa that is for sure so hopefully we will be buying a house next yr or the end of this year.

I have a little room off the back of my house that I set up as my salon but business has been pretty slow so I'm doing some advertising to get it started because my goal is by next April I will have a real salon.

Ok so on with family stuff.. WEll Nevaeh is growing like a weed last time she was weighed which was all most 1 month ago she weighed 19.2 oz and 27 inches long.. she is starting to walk and can totally stand like a pro! She can say Mama and Dada and today she was saying "HI" which is so cute and man dose she love to dance, music comes on and she starts to dance.. she is really becoming independent when it comes to eating she now takes the spoon out of my hand and tries to eat herself lol it is so cute and she really loves to go play w her cousins.. Alyssa and Bay are her fav.. the boy cousins would be Ray Ray and Brandon.. She loves all her aunts and her Papa and G-ma Singer. Over all I would say she is just growing up to fast.
